How we calculate your savings
Your estimate compares the annual cost of the selected diesel benchmark with your chosen electric vehicle.
(Annual mileage divided by diesel fuel efficiency, multiplied by diesel price) + annual maintenance + one-tenth of vehicle price.
(Annual mileage multiplied by electricity consumption, multiplied by electricity price) + annual maintenance + one-tenth of the vehicle price shown (after rebate for electric trucks).
Annual diesel cost minus annual electric cost, multiplied by your selected ownership period. Fleet savings multiply this total by 5, 10 or 20 vehicles.
SRM T3EV+, Farizon F3E and Cheng Long L2 prices include a one-time S$15,000 rebate. Net truck price = price before rebate minus rebate. The rebate is deducted once from the vehicle price, not each year or again from running costs.
Vehicle price is spread over 10 years for this estimate, including when you select 5 years. The 5-year comparison includes half of the vehicle price shown; it is not the full upfront cash outlay. Figures are indicative and exclude COE, financing, insurance and other operating costs.
